9-11-24    THOUGHTS

Surely we have been set in a “LARGE PLACE”!  How blessed we are.  It is for us to say, “His loving kindness is everlasting”!  There is no doubt...  “THE LORD IS FOR US”!  We must not fear the threats of this world we live in.  Paul says it this way...  “ for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”   Rom 14:8   How simple!  O the peace that is ours,  if we will but claim it!   Let us SAY...    “His loving kindness is everlasting.”  May we live our faith powerfully!
Neh 8:10   “Then he said to them, "Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Ps 118:1-6    Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.  2  Oh let Israel say, "His lovingkindness is everlasting."  3  Oh let the house of Aaron say, "His lovingkindness is everlasting."  4  Oh let those who fear the LORD say, "His lovingkindness is everlasting." 5  From my distress I called upon the LORD; The LORD answered me and set me in a large place.  6  The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

My Prayer:
O God of all creation, You make our lives meaningful.  Surely that is true as we consider eternity.  You give us peace and joy and love, and a living hope.   May we never allow the world to get in the way of our humbly receiving Your blessings.  How great You are!  We praise You and lift You up.   May You, O Lord, be the joy of our strength.         In Jesus’ name,    Amen.
